Off Route 8 North :
Take exit 39 off Route 8.  Take a left at the bottom of the exit.  Head into the center of Thomaston and go past the bandstand and take a right onto High street.  Take High street all the way up the hill till you come to a stop sign.  Take right onto High street extension and continue until you come to the entrance of Highwood Farms on your left.  Take left into Highwood farms and field will be straight ahead!

Off Route 8 South :

Take exit 39 off Route 8.  Take a right at the bottom of the exit.  Head into the center of Thomaston and go past the bandstand and take a right onto High street.  Take High street all the way up the hill till you come to a stop sign.  Take right onto High street extension and continue until you come to the entrance of Highwood Farms on your left.  Take left into Highwood farms and field will be straight ahead!

                                          Directions to Nystrom's Pond soccer field is as follows :

Off Route 8 North :
Take exit 38 off Route 8.  Take a left at the bottom of the exit. Follow this road under Rt. 8 to the first stop light.  At the first stop light take a left on to Pine Hill Road.  Follow Pine Hill Road about 1/2 mile to its end.  At the end of Pine Hill Road, cross over Route 6 and continue on Branch Road (Rt. 109).  Follow Rt. 109 past Black Rock School and the Thomaston High School on your left.  Continue on Rt. 109 and take the first right on to Old Northfield Road.  Once on Old Northfield Road, take the first left onto Babbitt Road.  Follow Babbitt road through a 4 way stop. Babbitt Road turns into Turner road. The entrance to Nystrom's pond is about 200 yards up on the left.

Off Route 8 South :
Take exit 38 off Route 8.  Continue straight t the bottom of the exit onto Route 109
Follow Rt. 109 past Black Rock School and the Thomaston High School on your left.  Continue on Rt. 109 and take the first right on to Old Northfield Road.  Once on Old Northfield Road, take the first left onto Babbitt Road.  Follow Babbitt road through a 4 way stop. Babbitt Road turns into Turner road. The entrance to Nystrom's pond is about 200 yards up on the left.

From Route 6 Bristol/Farmington :
Follow Route 6 through Plymouth and Terryville.  You will enter Thomaston when you drive down a long steep hill to the intersection of  Route 8.  Continue straight through the on/off ramps of Route 8, into the center of Thomaston. At the light in the middle of town (Reds Hardware will be in front of you) bear left onto Main Street.  Follow Main Street past the Thomaston Opera House.  On the right you will see signs for Route 254 (Litchfield). Take this right on to Route 254 North.  Follow Route 254 North about 1 mile, and you will see Walnut Hill Road on your left.  NOTE : There is no light and the road comes up quickly.  Follow Walnut Hill Road up a couple of  hills until you see Hickory Hill Road on the left.  Follow Hickory Hill Road up and down some hills and through the 4 corners of Old Northfield Road.  The next 4 corners will be the intersection of Hickory Hill / Babbitt and Turner Roads.  Tale a right on to Turner road, the entrance to Nystrom's pond is about 200 yards up on the left.

Litchfield Community Field (15 Minutes)
Take route 254 to 118 West (Center of Litchfield). Proceed through stop sign and through stop light. At 2nd light turn right into driveway.
The field is on the right.

New Milford / Carlson's Cove (50 - 60 Minutes)
Get to the center of Litchfield either of the following ways:
1) Follow Route 202 into and through Litchfield toward Bantam.
2) Follow 118 (Left of Rt. 8 Exit) to the center of Litchfield
3) Follow 254 out of Thomaston toward Litchfield. Take a left onto Rt. 118 at the top of the hill. Follow Rt 118 into Litchfield.

Once in the center of  Litchfield, follow Route 202 into New Milford, and look for the Volkswagen dealership on the right. Then next left is Weaton Road. The field is at the bottom of the hill on Wheaton Road, less than 1/8 of a mile. The road comes up quickly.

Shepaug / Washington Primary School (40 - 45 Minutes)
Follow route 109 into Washington Depot. At the end of 109 take a left onto route 47. Follow route 47 into the center of Washington Depot. There will be a Texaco gas station directly in front of you at the first stop sign. Take a left at this stop sign, go across a bridge. Turn right onto School Street and look for the Washington Primary School on the left. The soccer field is located beyond the pavilion.

Morris (15 Minutes)
Follow route 109 out of Thomaston. Follow through the first traffic light (Corner of Morris Pizza and Rt 63).
Continue straight through intersection. Continue straight through the next intersection (Poppy's).
Continue straight for about 2 miles. On your right you will see East Morris Road (Boat Ramp Sign).
Take a right on to East Morris Road, follow down about 1 mile. On your left will be the enterence to the fields.

Oliver Wolcott Tech ( Torrington ) ( 20 Minutes )
Exit 44 off Rt 8 North ( Downtown Burger King Exit ). At end of exit take a right. After first traffic light, take a left. Take a right onto Amherst. Take a left onto Oliver. School will be on the right.

New Fairfield High School ( 1 Hr )
Take RT 84 West exit 6 and turn RIGHT at end of exit
Continue to North Street Shopping Center, at Light, continue STRAIGHT several miles
Continue past FCI several miles (becomes RT 37): continue on RT 37 to New Fairfield
town center (intersection of RT 37 and RT 39) Take LEFT onto RT 39 and continue up to top of hill
Take LEFT and then take RIGHT onto Gilloti RD (High School is 3rd school: field
closest to Gilloti RD)

Mitchell Elem School ( 20 Min )
Take RT 6 to Woodbury on RIGHT will be small green and Post Office
Take RIGHT and another quick RIGHT into Mitchell School

Bishop Donnelly Field ( 20 Min )
Take RT 8 North, exit 44 and turn RIGHT onto RT 44
Continue to top of hill, at Walmart intersection (RT 183) take LEFT
Take 1st RIGHT onto East Pearl ST and continue to Bishop Donnelly Field

Litchfield ( White Field )
Take Rt 109 out of Thomaston to Morris. Take a right on to Rt  63 North in Morris. The field will be on your left as you head towads Litchfield. The filed is just past an equestrian center.

Sherman ( Colonial Field )
Take Route 109 West into Morris. Take a right onto route 209 into Bantam. At the Traffic light at the intersection of Route 202 take a left on 202 South.
Take route 202 until it merges with Route 7.
Take Route 7 North for about 3 miles.
At the blinking light take a left onto Route 37.
Take Route 37 all the way into Sherman.
Once in town you will come to a stop light with a school on your left, go straight through the light. A short distance from here you will cross a small bridge (fairly new). Just after the bridge, on your left, is the entrance to Colonial Park (the soccer fields), the Catholic Church, and the town Gardens.
NOTE : There is a bakery within walking distance of the park where you can get coffee, and sandwiches as well as bakery items.

Kenoshia Fields, Danbury
From 84 West:

Take exit 2. Do not take the first right-hand exit off of Exit 2 (Old Ridgebury Road), but stay to the left hand side for Mill Plain Road. At the intersection of Mill Plain Road, turn right and travel for approximately 1.5 miles to Kenoshia Avenue (at red light intersection there will be a 7-11 on the left). Turn right on to Kenoshia Avenue, travel back over the highway, and make the first right into Kenoshia Park. Go past the first soccer field on the left and turn left into the main soccer field parking area.

From 84 East:

Take exit 2 to the red light intersection. Make a left and go approximately .25 miles to the intersection of Mill Plain Road. At the intersection of Mill Plain Road, turn right and travel for approximately 1.5 miles to Kenoshia Avenue (at red light intersection there will be a 7-11 on the left). Turn right on to Kenoshia Avenue, travel back over the highway, and make the first right into Kenoshia Park. Go past the first soccer field on the left and turn left into the main soccer field parking area.
